Disneyland is perhaps one the the most enchanting, fun-filled places in all of the States! It’s even better for young parents looking to have their first magical adventure with their babies. Since you have to explore the place mostly on foot, it’s necessary to have all the essentials to make your tour as comfortable as possible.
For infants and toddlers, strollers are a must if you’re in for the long walk. So what could possibly be the best stroller for Disneyland that’ll ensure a snug, secure, and joyful ride for both you and your little one?
More than baby-carriers, which can only be of use up to a certain age, strollers can be the perfect thing to help you out.
But, without proper guidance, it can be hard to choose the right product for your needs.
What is the Best Stroller for Disneyland?
[table id=disney-stroller /]Needless to say, all parents have to experience their fair bit of struggles on their first visit to such a place.
Because of these struggles, the lessons we learned about strollers helped us to know what to look for in a Disneyland stroller. Two such examples would be the Pockit Lightweight or the Zoe XL2 Best if you’ve got cute little twins.
And, in this guide, we’re going to tell you everything about the best strollers for Disneyland!
Criteria When Buying a Disneyland Stroller
It’s essential for one to have a proper idea about the stroller they could easily use in Disneyland and what not to opt for.
Not having the proper one may lead to exhaustion and other significant problems for your child. And also, you can’t just think of carrying your child all of that time, can you?
So here’s a guide to help you know what you should look for when buying a stroller.
1. Size
[su_note note_color=”#ffb5b5″]Note: Effective May 1, 2019, strollers that are greater than 31” in width and 52” in length will be prohibited. Stroller wagons will also be prohibited.[/su_note]
Size is the first thing to keep in mind when picking strollers. And, if it’s for a place like Disneyland, this is what you’ll need: a stroller that is compact, secure and offers excellent functionality during transport.
Needless to say, you won’t be looking for a stroller that is bulgy and takes an effort to push through the crowd or is too difficult to get on-board vehicles.
The stroller should keep the baby comfortable for the most part of the day as well as have some room left for other essentials.
2. Safety
This is something that you shouldn’t even think of compromising with, especially when it’s top priority for your child.
First, know that trips to Disneyland would mean a lot of surprises, large crowds and long walks out in the open.
So, look for something with enough headroom, sunshade, and rain cover that will efficiently safeguard your child from a variety of weather.
Secondly, the stroller should also include a 5-point harness to secure your child’s safely to the stroller. And finally, a reliable wheel-lock system to make sure your stroller doesn’t veer off in any direction when you stop to take a break.
3. Seats
Your little sunshine is going to spend a large part of their day in the stroller, so comfortable seats are an absolute must. Remember that your baby is going have their food, take a nap, and enjoy the sights and scenes in the stroller itself. So, make sure the seats are nothing short of the best in quality and comfort.
They should also be durable and easy to clean.
Multi-position reclinable seats could be a great thing as you can recline them as much as you want during your baby’s nap-time.
4. Snack tray and storage facilities
Consider getting a stroller that can easily store all your child’s essentials, such as diaper bags, sippy cups, snacks, and comfortable clothes. This will keep all the things at hand so that it’s easy to retrieve them whenever need be.
Some models also come with detachable snack trays that’ll allow you to feed your baby and remove it once done. Some others come with additional space for goodies and souvenirs.
5. Ease of maneuverability
The last thing you want to experience in Disneyland is to have the stroller get stuck up somewhere or malfunction in any way. Do check up on the quality of brakes, grips, handlebars, and especially the wheels and how resistant they are going to be on terrains and uneven roads.
The stroller should be easy to carry and move with minimum effort, yet be entirely under your control.
6. Compactness and foldability
Always opt for a stroller that has a compact design and can be folded. Foldability goes a long way to help carrying and boarding it on vehicles such as monorails or buses. Besides, remember the times you’ll have to book a flight to reach the place or take off.
A foldable stroller is always a wise option to go for in every situation.
Top 10 Best Strollers for Disneyland
Now that you know exactly what to look for while getting a stroller for your exciting trip to Disneyland, it’s time to unveil what I think are some of the best for your babies to take a ride in!
We took the time out to test all of these strollers to find the best one. And we hope to provide nothing short of the perfect one for your baby!
Take a look!
1. Pockit Lightweight Stroller
[amazon box=”B01DQ2B8UY”] [su_row][su_column size=”1/2″][su_box title=”Pros” box_color=”#009906″][su_list icon=”icon: check” icon_color=”#009906″]- Lightweight yet sturdy design ensures ease of portability
- Comfortable and secure
- Complete wheel safety and locking ensured.
- Entirely adjustable structure
- Compact and folds up quite well
- Lacks harness design
- Fabric on the sunshades and canopy could have been better.
An absolute favorite amongst parents, the Pockit Lightweight offers all the comfort your baby will need to enjoy their trip in Disneyland. It’s ergonomically designed to be lightweight yet exceedingly durable to sustain a weight of up to 55 pounds.
And, an additional 11 pounds for other accessories in its storage unit, thanks to its sturdy aluminum frame.
One of the best things about this stroller is that it’s immensely comfortable to carry around, folding up perfectly!
The fabric is absolutely lush, comfortable and immensely durable. When it rains there’s no effort at all washing and drying it up! It dries up pretty nicely within a short time, even in the shade and we didn’t face any moisture problem thereafter.
The stroller comes with an adjustable safety belt, but we wish it had a proper harness for that matter. However, it isn’t much of a problem as it secures your child well to the stroller. The comfort pads make the entire structure snug and cozy. Since, all of it’s adjustable, it suitably fits your child at every stage as they grow up.
It also comes with an adjustable torso length which is fine but could have been better in design. We really liked its lockable front swivel wheels and rear wheel parking brake that ensure complete safety.
The overhead canopy is good and does a decent job of offering protection from changing weather conditions. The sunshade is a bit tricky to manage as it can blow backward.
But, apart from these negligible design flaws, we simply find the overall functionality of this stroller too good to pass on!
2. Baby Jogger City Tour Stroller
[amazon box=”B01J258IBQ”] [su_row][su_column size=”1/2″][su_box title=”Pros” box_color=”#009906″][su_list icon=”icon: check” icon_color=”#009906″]- Lightweight and durable
- Provides excellent ease of movement and maneuverability
- Auto-lock keeps the stroller folded
- Comes with a 5-point harness for maximum security and safety
- Can sustain a substantial amount of weight
- No shoulder straps or additional pads
The Baby Jogger has been a crowd favorite for a long time now. Although it’s only a tad bit heavier than the Pockit Lightweight, it packs quite a punch with its features. It’s immensely sturdy, sustaining a maximum weight of up to 45 pounds and a height of about 40 inches or 101. 6 cms.
One of the things that we liked about this stroller was its 5-point harness feature that guarantees absolute safety and security for your child. The “multi-position near-flat recline” provides all the comfort during your baby’s nap time. It has a beautiful extended canopy with a “peek-a-boo” window that works really well.
But the winning point for us was its foldability, which lets you fold it up using just a hand’s movement! The auto-lock keeps the fold on the stroller and is hugely beneficial during transport or storage.
The storage basket under the seat holds all of your baby’s requirements and can sustain around 15 pounds (7 kgs) of weight for that matter.
It’s quite durable. We know this because the first thing it ever had to endure was a push from our innocent daughter that made it fall down a staircase. It survived the crash with minor scratches, but no damage to the structure at all.
The wheels on this one are really amazing and work fine on cobblestone and other uneven grounds. However, it doesn’t have shoulder straps or added pads for comfort.
Overall, it’s a pretty customizable stroller if you’re looking to accessorize it in any way, and thus could be a suitable deal for your Disneyland trip!
3. Baby Jogger 2016 City Mini GT Double Stroller
[amazon box=”B00O20OPTQ”]Dimensions: 38.5in L x 29.75in W x 41.5in H
[su_row][su_column size=”1/2″][su_box title=”Pros” box_color=”#009906″][su_list icon=”icon: check” icon_color=”#009906″]
- Very durable and sturdy (can hold a maximum weight of 100 pounds)
- Patented Quick-FOld
- Recline for both seats
- Can be efficiently maneuvered over many types of terrain
- Accessible safety brakes
- Safe and secure 5-point harnesses
- No accessories included
- Fixed two seat configuration
[/su_list][/su_box][/su_column][/su_row]
And, this one’s yet another fantastic stroller for cute little twins! The City Mini GT has brilliant multi-terrain strolling capabilities, moving ahead with ease and style! The 8.5 inches all-terrain tires are pretty tough and just what you need if you had to take a walk on a grassy or gravelly path with your little ones.
These provide superior front wheel suspension for a smooth ride. The quick release air-wheels feature “sealed ball bearings” and dual lockable swivel front wheels with suspension that help you travel with ease over long distances.
The seats are luxuriously comfortable and deep. They include additional pads for extra comfort with “vented seat tops” to facilitate air flow. The recline is pretty nice on it. We liked the fact that it features a longer back seat and extendable footrest to accommodate taller kids.
The retractable sun canopy with covered peek-a-boo mesh windows works decently to protect your children from the sun and rain. You can fold this stroller right in half using only a single-hand movement. The “removable auto-lock” ensures it remains closed and folded up.
The stroller features a very user-friendly hand brake for you to control its movements. Moreover, the handlebar is adjustable, making it easy for users of all heights to maneuver it.
Apart from these, you get 5-point safety harnesses in each stroller, a spacious and accessible under-seat storage basket for baby gear, back-seat storage slots and a rear parking brake.
All-in-all, this one’s absolutely worth the money you pay for it and a great thing for your little Mouseketeers to be on their trip to Disneyland!
4. Summer Infant 3D Lite
[amazon box=”B00O20OCVC”][su_row][su_column size=”1/2″][su_box title=”Pros” box_color=”#009906″][su_list icon=”icon: check” icon_color=”#009906″]
- Sturdy aluminum frame
- Can be quickly folded up using the easy auto-lock facility
- Includes very comfortable and secure harnessing for your baby
- Greatly functional design
- Can be easily worked by taller people without hunching
- Not suitable for taller babies
- Sippy cup holder isn’t of much help
[/su_list][/su_box][/su_column][/su_row]
The 3D Lite stroller from Summer Infant is one of the top-selling ones when it comes to traveling. It comes with an awesome 3-step folding system that requires you to push down on a lever with your foot while lifting the rear handle and the entire unit folds up neat and clean!
It has a formidable aluminum frame and a spacious seat that can sustain a maximum weight of upto 50 pounds. We really liked the adjustable umbrella canopy on this one.
But most importantly it had the 5-point safety harness system. This means absolute security for children, and this is what parents look for in any stroller or carrier for that matter. It also provides extra padding on the crotch straps and an extra soft pad that you can flap over.
There is a 4-position recline on this, along with a footrest that helps your child take a nap as long as they want.
The stroller comes with shock-resistant front wheels and lockable rear wheels so that it doesn’t veer off anywhere. The storage basket is spacious, but avoid putting heavier objects into it. However, the sippy cup holder is too narrow to hold any standard-sized water bottle.
If you’re a bit taller, you could comfortably push this stroller without hunching over owing to it’s long handles (longer than the standard ones).
The only tricky thing that we noticed about it was that it might not be suitable for kids who are a bit taller at around 1 ½ or 2 years of age. Apart from this, it gives you all the benefits of a proper stroller.
5. Graco FastAction Fold Jogger Stroller
[amazon box=”B00UVW40XA”][su_row][su_column size=”1/2″][su_box title=”Pros” box_color=”#009906″][su_list icon=”icon: check” icon_color=”#009906″]
- Exceedingly tough, durable and shockproof
- Greatly maneuverable and convenient
- Can be folded up and attached to the car seat with just a click
- Includes all the necessary standard additions
- Safe and secure built and design
- Not lightweight
[/su_list][/su_box][/su_column][/su_row]
The Graco FastAction is the most heavy-duty stroller on the list today that combines the comfort and convenience of the traditional stroller with the performance of an “all-terrain” jogger! It provides immense ease of maneuverability and taking it on uneven, grassy or gravelly grounds is just a piece of cake!
The stroller comes with a patented “one-second, one-hand FastAction” fold and a “click connect” technology to attach the seating tray to the infant car seat, making it the perfect choice for travels. The stroller includes air-filled rubber tires for suspension and a lockable front swivel wheel.
It remains in a standing position even when folded, and the automatic storage lock keeps it from losing its fold.
Now, this 3-wheel stroller is actually pretty huge with a seat depth of approx 14 inches. This is ideal for people who are at least 5’5” in height to push it through easily. Although it comes with snap-on wheels that could be detached with the push of a button, it takes quite a bit of space in the car. In that case, you do have to detach the wheels to store it.
The stroller is very comfortable, easy to clean and maintain. A few reviews state that they wish the smartphone cradle served its purpose, because it’s a bit small. It also includes 2 deep cup holders, a covered storage compartment and low-visibility reflectors.
You could confidently take this thing to your Disneyland trip as it will not disappoint in performance.
6. Kolcraft Cloud Plus
[amazon box=”B019DHBCXE”][su_row][su_column size=”1/2″][su_box title=”Pros” box_color=”#009906″][su_list icon=”icon: check” icon_color=”#009906″]
- Sturdy build with a lot of comfortable features
- Lightweight yet can sustain upto 50 pounds.
- All-terrain wheels provide easy maneuverability on difficult roads
- Very spacious
- 3-tiered extended canopy protection and 5-point restraint for safety
- Fold lock can be a bit tricky at first
- Cup holders are on the narrow side
[/su_list][/su_box][/su_column][/su_row]
When we researched Kolcraft Cloud Plus, we weren’t quite expecting it to match our expectations the way it did. But boy oh boy, were we wrong! This is a fantastic stroller that is lightweight, spacious, gives you the benefit of the one-hand fold and has a 3-tiered extended canopy with UV protection.
This one fares really well on sandy paths too. It can sustain a weight of upto 50 pounds (similar to the Graco FastAction) and comes with all-terrain wheels and front suspension for easy movement and a smooth ride.
The multi-position recline feature is comfortable; but, it won’t recline flat. It comes with a 5-point safety restraint system that does its work efficiently. The canopy is large and helps prevent the effects of not-so favorable weather conditions.
This stroller is spacious in every way: be it the seat or the storage basket, it provides ample room and easy access for swiftly accessing all of your baby’s essentials.
You can detach the child’s tray that includes dual cups and a juice box holder. However, these holders are a bit too narrow for the purpose.
The only thing we wish it had was a proper fold lock. When you fold the stroller, it doesn’t lock all that well and can come undone if you try to flatten it further. This is a bummer.
Over all, the product is decent enough for a sweet trip to Disneyland.
7. Costzon Baby Jogger Stroller
[amazon box=”B073Y95RJD”][su_row][su_column size=”1/2″][su_box title=”Pros” box_color=”#009906″][su_list icon=”icon: check” icon_color=”#009906″]
- Exceedingly durable steel frame construction
- Greatly adjustable and lightweight
- Considerably spacious and comfortable
- Added protection
- Easily maneuverable
- Only supports children up to 33lbs
[/su_list][/su_box][/su_column][/su_row]
The Costzon Baby Jogger Stroller has one of the most formidable and sturdy steel constructions. Yet, it’s pretty easy to carry and store on extended travels.
It comes with a 5-point safety harness and a “multi-position padded seat recline”, offering all the comfort and security for your little darling. It also includes a free tractive webbing that you can tie around your hand, ensuring that the stroller won’t roll away if you accidentally lose grip.
We were more interested in the lockable front swivel wheels that makes it easier to manage the stroller.
The rubber wheels are extremely tough and can traverse over grass or gravel with ease, providing great maneuverability. The suspension prevents bumps and jerks.
We really liked the sun canopy feature as it allows you to adjust and remove it at your will. Moreover, the canopy comes with covered sunproof ratchets to protect your child from ultraviolet radiations. You can also detach the child’s tray that has 2 cup holders.
There’s an extra room storage unit that can hold a large diaper bag, groceries, and other essentials. It’s in fact way more spacious than most others on this list.
The fold on it’s good too, if not the best. But, you get an adjustable backrest, nonetheless.
The only thing about the stroller is that it may not be as compact as one would expect. Yet, this one comes with quite a few winning points and should be perfect for a nice trip and an even nicer experience.
8. Besrey Baby Stroller
[amazon box=”B07G18TXJS”][su_row][su_column size=”1/2″][su_box title=”Pros” box_color=”#009906″][su_list icon=”icon: check” icon_color=”#009906″]
- Greatly foldable and compact
- Lightweight and functional design
- Quite comfortable and spacious
- Swiftly accessible safety features.
- Not suitable for taller kids
- No cup holders
[/su_list][/su_box][/su_column][/su_row]
The besrey baby stroller pram carriage is designed for being stored in the overhead compartment of an airplane. So, yea, you guessed it right, the winning point for this stroller is its compactness and foldability. And needless to say, it’s lightweight and easy to carry around.
It features an extendable pull rod that allows you to easily get it on flights or other vehicles, much like that of a suitcase.
The maneuverability is pretty nice with 360 degrees front swivel wheels that can easily traverse in any direction without jamming up in the middle of the walk. The stroller comes with a “one-step” brake right in the middle of a bar going through behind the back wheels.
This allows easy access to the brake system whenever required. The safety lock prevents the stroller from being folded up with your child still in it.
The stroller comes with the safety of the 5-point harness system. And we liked the additional pads in the headrest and reclining backrest that keep your child’s head in position during his nap. The adjustable footrest is always a pleasant and comfortable addition.
The storage basket provides a decent amount of space for holding your baby’s requirements. However, avoid going overboard with stuffing a lot in it.
The overall structure lacks endurance. Although it’s strong enough for the child, they will soon outgrow it, which doesn’t make it the perfect alternative for ages 2 and up. Another thing that we noticed is that it lacks cup holders. This could be a problem during long strolls under the sun.
Although the stroller is nicely designed and compact, it’s better not to expect any heavy-duty performance from this one. Yet, for its price or a comparatively shorter trip, this works just fine.
9. Joovy Scooter X2 Double Stroller
[amazon box=”B00O20OPTQ“] [su_row][su_column size=”1/2″][su_box title=”Pros” box_color=”#009906″][su_list icon=”icon: check” icon_color=”#009906″]- Priced very affordably when compared to similar strollers.
- Extremely durable and stable. Two wheels in the front prevents tipping, along with bumper bar.
- Tons of storage and compartments
- Folds down to a nice size for travel
- Is compact enough to fit through most doors with ease (30 inches in width)
- Cannot accommodate babies under three months of age or those in a car seat
- Some claim cupholders are weak and canopy floppy
Perfect for parents with double riders or some extra cargo, this spacious stroller makes for an amazing Disneyland packing addition. The sturdy frame offers maximized durability and stability, making this two seater safe for even the wiggliest tots. Joovy went the extra mile in creating a long lasting, safe product by adding sealed bearing wheels to prevent tipping and make pushing two children a breeze.
One of the best features of this stroller is the removable bumper bar. This bar gives you the option to add a little extra security by preventing your little ones from climbing in and out. Think of it as similar to a roller coaster safety bar; it is padded and soft but also acts as a super effective guardrail to keep the kiddos contained. Cup holders and pouches add a bit of extra storage and the amazing one hand reclining system allows your little one to relax in a nearly infinite combination of positions ranging from sitting upright to laying nearly flat.
Additionally, the stroller seats each move independently, meaning one child can nap while the other sits up to look around, preventing squabbling and keeping everything cheerful and fun! This stroller is perfect for any parent, whether they need to seat two children or just prefer to have extra storage space, and will make a fantastic asset for your next Disneyland adventure!
10. Costzon Double Stroller Infant Baby Push Chair
[amazon box=”B07FY3GW3Y”]Dimensions: 36in L x 29in W x 18.3in H
[su_row][su_column size=”1/2″][su_box title=”Pros” box_color=”#009906″][su_list icon=”icon: check” icon_color=”#009906″]
- Provides ease of maneuverability
- Spacious and comfortable design
- Decent wheel performance with swivel lock safety
- Detachable child trays for both seats
- Can be folded up
- Doesn’t fit in car-seats
- Folding takes some time to get used to
[/su_list][/su_box][/su_column][/su_row]
And for our final entry, we have the Costzon Double Stroller two-seater. This is an ideal solution if you have an infant and a toddler. It can hold up around 33 pounds for each. The stroller has an enduring stainless steel frame and a breathable, non-toxic Oxford cover for protection against unpredictable weather conditions.
The lockable swivel wheels with suspension make it easier to manage the stroller and ensure a smooth ride for your little ones. It also lets you maneuver the structure easily requiring little force to push ahead.
The child’s trays on both seats are detachable and you also get double canopies. The storage basket on this stroller is spacious and can easily hold baby gear for two. You can put a diaper bag, groceries or purses in it.
However, based on reviews parents didn’t find the fold on this to be very efficient. It does fold up, but you have to press two buttons simultaneously to do so. The technique is not very fluid. Also, it doesn’t recline flat.
The seats are comfortable with a decent seat-belt, but you don’t get the 5-point harness on this stroller.
Nevertheless, it’s easy to clean and maintain with not much complication to it. Moreover, the wheels are nice and tough and can be taken over uneven roads; very durable.
Related Questions (FAQs)
1. Do I need to worry about Disney stroller theft?
Although it’s unlikely, it’s definitely a possibility. Do not leave any valuable belongings in the stroller. Go shopping at the end of the visit if you have to. And, invest in a proper combination lock, such as the Sportneer bike lock, to prevent potential thievery.
2. Should I rent a stroller?
Rented strollers cost you $15 a day for 1 stroller and $25 for 2 strollers. The seats are uncomfortable for the child, and even if you’re staying at a hotel in Disneyland, the rented strollers must remain at the park.
Although you could rent a stroller, it’s better to bring one instead. If you’re worried about the bulk, the ones like the Pockit Lightweight or Baby Jogger are lightweight and compact enough to travel with.
3. Does Disneyland have Double Strollers?
Disneyland does NOT rent out double strollers.
4. Can you take a stroller on the monorail at Disney?
Yes, you can take a stroller on the monorail at Disneyland. However, if it’s too crowded on the monorail, you might be asked to fold the stroller up.

So, this was all about the best strollers that you could use in Disneyland! I hope I was able to give you an insight on what to expect on your next Disneyland trip. And I sincerely wish that you make some fantastic memories with your children to last you a lifetime.
Happy mousing around!
